Terms of Use

The agreement between you and White Rabbit Entertainment that governs your use of White Rabbit.

Effective October 16, 2026

The short version

  • You own what you post. We only host and show it as your visibility settings allow.
  • Your browsing is yours alone, and rabbit holes stay private until you choose to share them.
  • Follow the Community Guidelines, and respect other people's work and credit.
  • Plus is optional: $7.99 a month plus any tax, renewing monthly until you cancel. Cancel anytime, and it lasts to the end of the month you've paid for.
  • White Rabbit is provided as is, and our liability is limited as the law allows.
  • Disputes are resolved by individual arbitration, not class actions, unless you opt out within 30 days.

This summary is for convenience. The full Terms of Use below is what applies.

1.Agreement to these Terms#

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and White Rabbit Entertainment ("White Rabbit," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the White Rabbit website, applications, and browser extension, and any related features and services we offer (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, installing the browser extension, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Cookie & Storage Policy, Advertising Policy, and Copyright & DMCA Policy. Together, these are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.

Please read the arbitration agreement

Dispute resolution and arbitration requires, with limited exceptions, that disputes between you and us be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and waives your right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action. You can opt out within 30 days, as explained there.

2.Changes to these Terms and the Service#

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, in the Service or by email, unless the change is required sooner by law or addresses a new feature or a safety or security risk. The effective date at the top shows when these Terms last changed.

If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree to them, stop using the Service and delete your account.

The Service will evolve. We may add, change, or remove features, or suspend or end all or part of the Service. If we end the Service entirely, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to download your content where practical.

3.Eligibility#

To use the Service, you must:

  • be at least 13 years old;
  • if you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, have permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms for you;
  • not be prohibited from using the Service under the laws that apply to you, including U.S. export and sanctions laws; and
  • not have had an account suspended or terminated by us, unless we've told you in writing that you may return.

4.Your account#

You're responsible for the information in your account being accurate, for keeping your password and sign-in methods secure, and for everything that happens under your account. An account is for one person; don't share it, sell it, or let others use it.

Tell us right away at contact.whiterabbt.com@gmail.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

Your username must not impersonate anyone, mislead people about who you are, or infringe someone else's rights. We may reclaim or change a username that does, or one that has been inactive for a long time.

5.Your content#

"Your content" means anything you create, post, send, or upload through the Service, including rabbit holes and their Trails, notes, comments, messages, attachments, and your profile. You keep ownership of your content, and you are responsible for it.

You promise that you have the rights needed to post your content and to grant the license below, and that your content and your use of the Service follow these Terms and the law.

You choose who can see each rabbit hole: everyone, your followers, your close friends, or only you. We honour those settings. Content you make public can be seen, shared, and forked by anyone on the Service, and may appear in feeds, search, topics, and community answers.

You can delete your content at any time. When you do, we remove it from the Service within a reasonable time. Copies may remain for a limited period in backups, as required by law, or to resolve disputes and enforce these Terms. Forks that other people made of your public rabbit holes before you deleted them are their content, and stay, with the link to your original removed.

6.The license you give us#

So that we can run the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt (for example, to resize an image or format a preview), display, and distribute your content, only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service, and only in line with the visibility you choose. We may sublicense these rights to service providers that help us run the Service, only for that purpose.

This license ends when you delete your content or your account, except for content others have forked or you've shared with others (which may remain as described in Your content), and for copies we must keep by law. We don't sell your content, and we don't use your private content to promote the Service.

7.Forks, relays, and attribution#

Public rabbit holes can be forked: another person can continue your Trail from any step as a rabbit hole of their own. By making a rabbit hole public, you allow this. Forks and relays always keep a visible link to the rabbit hole they came from.

You may not remove, hide, or falsify attribution, or copy someone else's Trail into a new rabbit hole to avoid crediting them.

8.The browser extension and White Rabbit Helper#

The White Rabbit extension notices rabbit holes as you browse. It records the pages you visit in normal browser windows, applies your privacy rules, and keeps that record in your browser. It never runs in private or incognito windows. How it handles your information is described in the Privacy Policy.

On a Mac, Safari is connected through White Rabbit Helper, a small app you install yourself and grant access to Safari's history. Unlike the extension, it sends new visits from Safari's history to your account, where your privacy rules are applied, only you can see them, and they're kept for seven days. You're responsible for installing it only on a Mac you're entitled to use, and for connecting it only to your own Safari history. How it handles your information is described in the Privacy Policy.

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the extension and White Rabbit Helper with the Service. You can pause, limit, disconnect, or uninstall them at any time. You may not modify them, or use them to collect information about anyone other than yourself.

9.Acceptable use#

You must follow our Community Guidelines. You also agree not to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else do so;
  • scrape, crawl, or collect content or information from the Service by automated means, except as allowed by a published API or our written permission;
  • copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source code of the Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
  • probe, scan, or test the Service's vulnerabilities, or get around any security, rate limit, access control, or privacy setting;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, or put an unreasonable load on it;
  • create accounts by automated means, or run accounts that pretend to be a person when they aren't;
  • use the Service's AI features to create content that breaks these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or to build a competing model or service;
  • access content or information you aren't authorized to see; or
  • sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

10.AI features#

Some features use artificial intelligence to summarize, organize, and answer questions about rabbit holes. Rabbit can also arrange and add to boards when you ask it. These features are provided by third-party model providers or by an engine that runs on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy.

AI output is generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Where we can, we link AI output to the sources it came from so you can check it. Don't rely on it as medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You're responsible for how you use it.

We may limit how many AI requests each person can make, and may change or remove AI features at any time.

11.Advertising#

The Service may show clearly labelled advertising from Google, as described in our Advertising Policy. Advertisers can't pay to change how rabbit holes are ranked, and ads never appear in private rabbit holes, messages, the composer, onboarding, or settings.

13.Third-party sites and content#

Rabbit holes link to, and show previews of, websites and content that we don't own or control. We aren't responsible for them, and a link isn't an endorsement. Your use of other sites is governed by their own terms and policies.

Content that other people post is their responsibility, not ours. We don't review everything posted, and we don't endorse any user's content or opinions.

14.Our intellectual property#

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and the White Rabbit name and logo, is owned by White Rabbit Entertainment or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Apart from your content, these Terms don't give you any rights in the Service, except the limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it in line with these Terms. You may not use our name or logo without our written permission.

15.Feedback#

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without paying you or owing you anything.

17.Suspension and termination#

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service, or remove content, if we reasonably believe that you've broken these Terms or the Community Guidelines, that your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, or that we're required to by law. Where appropriate and lawful, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to appeal, as described in the Community Guidelines.

When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends too. The sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including The license you give us (to the extent described there), Our intellectual property, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Dispute resolution and arbitration, Governing law and venue, and General terms.

18.Disclaimers#

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHITE RABBIT ENTERTAINMENT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; THAT CONTENT, INCLUDING AI OUTPUT AND CONTENT FROM OTHER USERS OR THIRD-PARTY SITES, IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE; OR THAT ANY DEFECT WILL BE CORRECTED.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

19.Limitation of liability#

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHITE RABBIT ENTERTAINMENT AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limits apply to every theory of liability, whether contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise. They don't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

20.Indemnification#

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless White Rabbit Entertainment and its owners, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or the law. We'll tell you about any such claim, and may take over its defense at our own expense, in which case you'll cooperate with us.

21.Dispute resolution and arbitration#

Important

This section affects your legal rights. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration, and waives class actions and jury trials. You can opt out as explained below.

Informal resolution first

Most concerns can be solved quickly. Before starting a formal proceeding, you and we each agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally. Send a written notice to contact.whiterabbt.com@gmail.com with your name, your username, the email address on your account, a description of the dispute, and the relief you want. We'll send notices to the email address on your account. If the dispute isn't resolved within 60 days after the notice is received, either party may start arbitration or, where allowed below, a court proceeding.

Agreement to arbitrate

You and we agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (a "Dispute") will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except as described below. This agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. The arbitrator decides all questions about the scope and enforceability of this agreement to arbitrate, except that a court decides questions about the class-action waiver and the mass-filing process.

The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, which are available at adr.org. Payment of filing, administration, and arbitrator fees is governed by those rules. The arbitration may be conducted by video conference, by written submissions, or in person in the county where you live. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could, but only in favour of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent needed to resolve that party's claim.

Exceptions

  • Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, if it qualifies and stays there.
  • Either party may go to court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property, or unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Nothing here prevents you from bringing a matter to the attention of a government agency.

No class actions or jury trials

YOU AND WE EACH AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU AND WE EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.

If a court finds this class-action waiver unenforceable for a particular claim or request for relief, that claim or request (and only that one) will be severed and decided in court, after any individual arbitration is complete, and the rest of this section still applies.

Opting out

You can opt out of this agreement to arbitrate by emailing contact.whiterabbt.com@gmail.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Include your name, your username, the email address on your account, and a clear statement that you want to opt out of arbitration. Opting out doesn't affect any other part of these Terms, and it doesn't affect any earlier arbitration agreement you had with us.

Changes to this section

If we make a material change to this section, it won't apply to a Dispute we already had notice of, and you may reject it by emailing us within 30 days after the change takes effect.

22.Governing law and venue#

These Terms and any Dispute are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For any Dispute not subject to arbitration, you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of California, and waive any objection to venue there.

If you live outside the United States, you may also have the benefit of mandatory consumer protection laws where you live, and nothing in these Terms takes those rights away.

23.General terms#

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, with the policies they incorporate, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service, and replace any earlier agreements about it.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent possible and the rest of these Terms stay in effect.
  • No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision, that doesn't mean we've waived it.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
  • Notices. We may send you notices by email to the address on your account, or in the Service. You may send us notices at contact.whiterabbt.com@gmail.com.
  • Force majeure. We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship.
  • Headings and language. Headings are for convenience only. If we provide a translation, the English version controls.

24.Notice to California users#

Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following consumer rights notice. The Service is provided by White Rabbit Entertainment.
